Why are you good?

I'm only as good as the better gamers I manage to beat. If I can beat anyone at their very best, than I can consider myself a good gamer. So far, I've scored a perfect off of one guy who was pretty good with Cervantes, but he must have gotten really mad, cause the next two matches he got me good with stun combos and went for the overkills and kicked me out of the session. Other gamers couldn't beat him, and these gamers are pros whom I wasn't able to escape their amazing combos. But somehow, I guess I was just lucky, but I actually took notes of his gameplay and came up with a strategy that I didn't think would actually work. I was able to beat him. I was even complimented by another gamer who liked my game play. She's pretty dangerous with Sophitia. It was hard to believe that she couldn't beat this guy. I mean, I couldn't land a single hit on her. Her guard impacts and combos were like off the hook. Eh, to be honest maybe I was just lucky, but I caught on to his gameplay in the way he beat the other gamers. And somehow, I just knew what was coming. Eh, but I just gave it my best shot. ^^

I can only humbly say I'm pretty decent in a fight. But these guys that I've played against are beastly. Man, I feel like how Solid Snake is against the Beauty and the Beast - game bosses in MGS4 with their intimidating skills and powers.
I just work with what I got, and give it my best shot. ^^ Gotta love the incredible odds though. The chances of me beating most gamers online may be very small, but hey, I'm in it for the love of the game. If I keep at it, I'll get better at it eventually. One step at a time, that's all I need. ^^
