Street Fighter x Tekken

Im a lil meh. SSF4 is ok and it basically looks like the same game but with tekken and tagging, which is cool, but i need to see more to be hyped. I just dont like tekken at all so i may not even get this...plus MvC3 and the new Mortal Kombat shit all over this in terms of hype despite how obscure the 2D fighter vs 3D fighter crossover is.

One thing that would make it more appealing is a buffer system attached to the SF4 engine, I cant tell you how much i rage over how unnecessarily anal that system is in terms of timing.

Agreed with everything

As do i.

I'm a little bit more hyped about the game than that but i do hope they fix some of the strict, timing issues that plague Street Fighter nowadays. Hopefully the system also wont be copied and pasted from SSF4. As far as the Tekken series goes, i've always enjoyed the games and the characters but i've never really been an actual fan as i've only bought one Tekken in my life. So maybe putting them on a Street Fighter game is the best idea for me.

That was completely unexpected. It's still a dumbass idea because you're basically forcing a franchise into something it's not for the sake of casual fanservice. I'm not saying that they will be terrible games, but the implementation wasn't necessary and it won't change the fighting genre or anything. It will just add characters... from a completely different subgenre.

Now, I won't be surprised to see a Guilty Gear vs Soul Calibur crossover, which would also a be a fucking stupid idea.

vf vs doa. Specifically, vf3tb vs doa2:hc. If Itagaki had been on his game 10 years ago I'm sure it would have been made.
