Peanut butter has protein http://www.nutritiondata.com/facts/legumes-and-legume-products/4366/2 as do almonds http://www.nutritiondata.com/facts/nut-and-seed-products/3085/2 . I also eat egg sandwiches but tonight it's peanut butter and honey.

I understand they have very small amounts of protein and high in fat. For a healthy diet you should really be dividing your caloric intake of macronutrients as such: 30% protein, 50% carbs, 20% fat.

There is no secret diet, you have to take your BMR and subract by 500 cal and keep the 30/50/20 split. But, if your carrot and almond diet works and you feel good, more power to ya!

By the way, are you learning Sets now or what?
