Well I can tell you're not indifferent.
You explained to me nicely what grinds peoples gears; because of my colorful posts.
If you were indifferent, you wouldn't respond at all.
So thanks for the honest explanation.
I now understand a few 8wayrunners.

From what I've gathered as long as I've known him, Madnis speaks his mind and offers no apologies for it. What he says, he means. I've learned from experience not to question him because he is up front about his beliefs. And that's a good thing in my book. Usually.

I've also gathered from the not-so-long time I've known you, NamuSkull, that you like to keep things from being boring and repetitive. That's why you usually post in many colours instead of one. You've got a seemingly easygoing personality, the type that likes to get along with others, but others may see you as a nuisance for that reason. Don't let it get to you, because you likely have friends that enjoy your quirks and wish to see you keep bringing a lighter side to this board of srs gamers.

Saying what is on your mind without restraint is NOT always good. It can be refreshing at times, but it can also be abrasive and cause harm when a bit of discretion and tact was called for. Take it from a guy who has been around a bit. Diplomacy is a gift. That does not need to entail deceit nor ass kissing. ...just tact and a bit of compassion for your fellow human being. :) I can come up with examples if needed, but I think you are all intelligent enough to understand what I am saying, whether you agree or not.

Well, I'll give a couple anyway:

A less than slim woman tells you that she is going on a diet. You say "good idea, you're looking chubby". Truth? yes. Honest? yes. Necessary? no. Hurtfull? damn straight.

A man on his death bed in the hospital, facing the reality that he will be entering the after life within hours. "How do I look?" he asks. You say "you look like shit, dude". Truth? yes. Honest? yes. Necessary? no. Hurtfull? damn straight.

Your wife goes out of her way to buy you what she believes to be the perfect birthday present for you. It's a designer shirt that cost $200. She gives it to you in anticipation of your surprise and happiness. You open it. "oh" you say. "Oh, cool. You know for that amount of money I could have had ODST, Dragon Age Origins, Dirt, and NHL 10. Truth? yes. Honest? yes. Necessary? no. Hurtfull? damn straight.

This is just my opinion and it is worth what you paid for it, which is nothing. But hopefully one can find a hint of truth in what I said.

My taste in women is the best thing about me. :) But I won't explain that taste here. I was a fisherman and a trapper in my life, and I know bait when I see it (being baited, not jail-bait...thought I should clarify. I know the latter also, but that was not the context) LOL

but nmk is right to a degree. i tend to leap before looking. leads to a lot of hilarious and entertaining falls. but sometimes.... i land on the other side.
