This is gonna be a stand-alone release so you don't need your SFIV data to play it.


I don't know about characters that were new in 3 showing up or not since this game is set in between 2 and 4 timeline wise, I suppose they could make it happen. So far though the only new characters they have announced are T. Hawk, Dee Jay, and Juri. I can't wait to find out what the rest are.
 
For me, i just couldn't get into SF4... the music was overwhelmingly crap, and the characters were overtly cartoony. I miss street fighter 3 :( it was always fun to spam scrub moves with Q!
