I sent him a pm asking him why he was so excessive and the reply I got was just as irrelevant and random as his reply here. Its like he takes whatever meaning he wants from your words and rolls with it like its factual. I wasn't correcting you. When quoting people, it's a common editorial practice to modify minor conjunctive words to suit context, and use brackets to denote those changes, out of respect for the original quote.
