Awake
Light fills the darkness of visual perception
Pain
Through dilated pupils and squinted lids
An unknown scape unfolds
Confusion, fear
What is this world?
Full of glass and steel
And burning eyes
Watching, studying, plotting
Floating
I am in water
Am I drowning
Are those eyes watching me die?
Rage
I will not go
I will not let them kill me
I ready my muscles
Power
I feel such strength in them
A pair of eyes come close to my liquid tomb
I strike
Breaking glass and rushing water
I feel those eyes separate from the body
In the moment it takes
to pull back into this emptying, would-be coffin
Pain
I pull and rip from my body spraying tethers
Like cords in a womb
Pain
Those eyes, they did this
I must end them all
Fury
I take freedom and break through the clawing glass
All is a blur
I tear the life from every pair of eyes
Until only death remains
Pain
I must escape
I must leave this hell...
