What is it about video games that attracts...

Well if you compare video games to books.. it doesn't work for me because the last time I "read" a book was like 3rd grade... (I am serious) the Dr. Seuss books were the last books I read. Now you wonder how I manage through school (especially english class) without reading a book you say? Well I thank the internet for that. Anyways, still I can't figure out how video games can be compare to books, science, math, technology, art etc that nerds enjoy. Now now, I know I am being a stereotypic idiot, but yea...

Yeah basically you are completely ignorant, and you don't know what you are talking about.

Dictionary...

Date: 1951

: an unstylish, unattractive, or socially inept person ; especially : one slavishly devoted to intellectual or academic pursuits <computer nerds>

Wow a book you actually read. Dr. Seuss... so, there you are. I'm not a nerd but i would much rather be one than never to have read a book and just troll the internet for information, going to scool, and not learning a damn thing. That doesn't make you "cool" or "not nerdy," that makes you a dumbass, that... and just a few days ago when you were saying how big your dick was on a gaming forum. Nerdiest fucking thing i've ever heard.

If you look at certain games, they all got a story like a book.

Mario for instance.
That story always looked the same.
You always gotta save Peach and defeat Bowser.
However, that same storyline always gets you hooked to play "hero".

That alone is why there's Mario "nerds".

I think what he means is that everyone likes SOMETHING [Art, video games, music, reading, etc..] but the people who play video games are labled as nerds and geeks. Why aren't people who like Music just as much if not more considered nerds? [I think.]

Actually you're leaning towards my point here.

-A boy is working hard for the wheelchair Olympics. His girl friend came in and reminded him that they were suppose to go on a date. He told her that he can't cuz he was so focused on winning the wheelchair Olympics. But the more she argues with him the more frustrated he became. Nuff said you got the idea what will happen.

This doesn't make sense, cause why would a guy in a wheel chair have a girlfriend?
