interesting documentary on US right wing

It's just like that south park episode with people going crazy over the results.

We'd have the exact kind of 'documentary' from the left 'point of view' if McCain won.

This is why I stopped watching TV and now choose my outlets for media wisely.

I was SOOOOOOooooo happy when I saw that episode. At first I was afraid it was gonna be hella bias and shit..but I was very pleasantly surprised at the route they took with it :) both with the whole ocean 11 big dogs working together and with the everyone acting like crazy fucks..lol. And now look. Just like all the more "normal" ppl thought. Its still as if nothing has "really" changed in the world yet. Obama or McCain..neither was an "answer" to the problem of america because the problem was a long time coming and not something that Bush created out of nowhere. He just gets it and a lot of other things "added" to his "resume" from those that don't know or don't care to know.

but yes..politics are WEAK SAUCE.

More people voted for Obama than McCain. I think its a pretty valid inference that more people would be angry if Mccain won.

That aside, the way logic works "Not" is a very strong word. Saying something is Not A just means that. Not A could mean B, C, D, etc.

Note, my statement had nothing to do with distribution. It had to do with existence, which was pretty much the main point of the 2 minutes of garbage I saw. I don't deny that there are crazy people on both sides at all. Saying that there are is an equal amount of crazier and angrier people on the right is not contradictory to saying that there are crazier and angrier people on the left, since it doesn't exclude the possibility that there are crazier and angrier people on the right (the reference being what I saw in the 2 minutes I saw, not the entire left).

In this case, Not A (your position) and Not B (my position) has an intersecting subset. Therefore, the misinterpretation was mainly your fault for disagreeing with a position you didn't disagree with. I don't really feel like my post merited any sort of interpretation that I was biased, unless you disagreed with my opinion that the documentary was sensationalist garbage. If something was done from the right wing point of view, I would have held the exact same opinion.

That doesn't really wash. You gave your personal guarantee the left would be worse. But it's nice to see by your back peddle you realize your original position was indefensible.

But you know, I'm being an asshole and if I have legitimately misinterpreted you (as someone who has been misinterprested himself at times) than you have my sincerest apologies. You've conducted yourself in a pretty civilized manner and dealing with someone who's misunderstood you can be frustrating especially if we actually agree. So providing I did, sorry if we've gotten off on the wrong foot.

Kotomi, he's just another whiny right-wing guy who's venting any and all psychological rage he can lash out with on you with.

BTW, that video was of mostly far-right ignorant people that are typical of midwest or any religiously dominated area in America. "I WANT MCCAIN CUZ IF REPUBLICANS DON'T WIN DEY GONNA BE ANUDDA 9-11"

I can't remember who said the quote, but it pretty much holds true from my observations. "Not all conservatives are stupid, but most stupid people are conservative"

Ruiner

Psychological rage? I don't really think I have any rage, except for when I felt Ghengis John thought that I somehow thought that liberals were crazier than conservatives, though that can hardly be considered rage.

If you really don't like my use of the word guarantee, take a look at it this way. Obama is among the most popular people ever to run for presidency. I don't really see there be anything but extreme amounts of anger if he was beaten by Bush 2 and lunatic from Alaska. I live in Hyde Park, Chicago. That's why I said guarantee, because it's that much closer to home (Obama's house is a freaking 20 minute walk away).

As for the existence of crazier stuff than I saw in the first two minutes, its definitely out there, I just didn't bother posting it for the same reason I view stuff like this as garbage.
