SF4 or SF2HD?

I like SF2HD more than SFIV. It feels more solid and consistent. Other than the priority throws have after blockstuns (which still confuses me) I have a general idea how the game works and what will beat what.

For example, DPs in SFIV suffer from "snk DP syndrome" where they will often trade with jump in attacks, and sometimes even lose completely. this doesn't happen in SF2

Yeah. There are people who are longing for more of SF3's smooth jazz too. I don't get it.

What is with people ragging on 3S soundtrack? BTW, MvC2 was smooth jazz. 3S was more hip-hop.

wow you have to clue

absolutely no clue

C. Viper is in SFIV. She's not in ST. She's not in HD Remix. Bottom Line, C.Viper is the character I've had the most fun playing with in this series, bumping Cammy from first to second place in that department.

As far as game mechanics go, I'm going to forever find unbreakable throws that AREN'T command throws to be stupid. So, I'm forever going to hate that mechanic of ST.

It's not as if I'm saying SFIV is a perfect game or some stupid ish like that (Hooligan not grabbing crounched is stupid as hell; Spinning Back Fist being borderline useless doesn't fly well either). I'm just finding myself enjoying SFIV A LOT more than HDR, primarily because of Viper.

EDIT: I'll say that my biggest beefs with SFIV is the stupidly huge reversal window and the DP shortcut in particular.

I suppose so. I remember thinking they bit the intro tune from Samurai Champloo. Either way, it wasn't that interesting a sound to me.

People in red karate gi's punching each other = electric freakin guitar.
