[WARNING!: Contains Spoilers] Resident Evil 5

Okay, so I've never played a Res Evil game before (not counting the arcade game ones with the gun you hold in your hand...ahh..I remember when those games weren't just for people waiting for the next movie to start). Anyway, I've always heard good stuff about the series but I never owned a PS product and I didn't get a gamecube until a while after it came out. But I REALLY want to get and try this next installment. I've read the backstory and the new game looks like it will be great. I'll be downloading the trial to get a better look at it, but as I assume I'll like what I see, I was just wondering who else on this site plans on getting the game so I can maybe have a few people to play it with online around release date?

And also, tell me if you liked the demo (if this thread lasts that long..lol)

It's fantastic, visuals are stunning, and the features look cool. I can't vouch for gameplay though as i haven't played it yet.

you missed out on a good series, if you can, do get RE 1 and 2 on the gamecube, its still a blast, especially the gamecube version of RE1.

The Resident Evil game series will always be special to me... except for sidequest games like the outbreaks and re gaiden and re deadaim. Favorate Resident Evil game was the 1st one and i especially love the remake for the gamecube. WESKER is god-tier

I'm having a hard time with the chainsaw guy, any help here? ne one up for co op? This game looks like gears of war imo from what ive seen of gow anyway.
