This might make me play PS3 shooters again!

I love FPS's but about 3 years ago my friend embedded into my head the they belong on PC's and PC's only. I've stood bye jealous watching some amazing titles only sit on the consoles but calmly had to remind myself why I don't play them. The controls are crap! >_<

Now the XBOX is FAR better than PS3 and it is very decent. But we all know dual analog simply cannot compete with mouse and pad. To top it off, most the games wont allow you to hook up a USB keyboard/mouse to fix the issue. So I find myself (like everyone) using only the assualt rifle of every game. Decent damage, small concentrated spread, good damage. Sniping is give or take based on game, and most technical guns simply dont have the percision to really use them to their full potential. (Resistence 2, there is NO reason not to use the carbine...as much as i want to use that bad ass pistol instead and well...all the other cool shit).

You may have your own opinion, many xbox players will be content...but PS3 finally got somethin good:

I think I may be buying some playstation exclusive shooters (repurchasing resistence 2!).

*read about the "frag mode" that thing has. It's genius!
 
Though I dont play FPS because when i try i tend to get shot in the head by invisible people this does seem rather interesting.
 
that looks interesting, the controller part kinda reminds of the n64 pad. a friend tried to get me playing pc fps's, the aiming is improved, but found it harder to run'n'gun, 360 pad is great for fps's. ive heard the analog sticks on ps3 are bad, is this true? in wich case yeah this looks good.
 
Yeah PS3 analog is god awful. It's like how the 360 pad is for fighters. They need to just hybrid a controller together.

But anyway, this controller will exceed 360 easy...because as decent as it is 360 will never be better than mouse/pad without a similar tweek.

Only issue is that you have a huge advantage over others who dont, which is cool but can make things feel to easy.
 
it looks hard to get used to, the ps3 pad works fine for me and i personally think its better than the xbox one, or id of brought an xbox haha :)

actually im better on a pad than on a keyboard and mouse... to much time playing console over pc maybe haha
