Let's share our thoughts on things in video games that make you what you like in real life.
Chocolate - Candy Crush Saga
I think my favorite type of candy is chocolate, preferably Nestle's Crunch. But Candy Crush Saga is the type of game that makes you never want to see another piece of chocolate again in your life.
I don't know why I keep playing it, even though I know I'd be better off playing Bejeweled... It's so frustrating and despicable with the the multi-layered meringue, color bombs that end your game instantly if you let one go off, and other nuisances that try to pressure you into buying boosters with real money.
One of those nuisances being chocolate... REGENERATING CHOCOLATE!!!
If there is at least one block of chocolate and you make a move without breaking it, an extra block will appear to impede your progress. If you let too much of it expand, it can make tasks difficult and sometimes impossible to complete. The worst place for chocolate to grow is in tight spaces where you would need special candies to get rid of it. To make things worse, there are chocolate generators that make it impossible to get rid of this stuff for good.
I'm surprised I can still face a piece of chocolate.
Gold Bricks - Arkanoid DS
Gold... Such a rare, valuable, and shiny metal. Can you think of one situation where you wouldn't want lots of this stuff? I can... Arkanoid series.
Gold Bricks in this series are indestructible. It's not a big problem until later levels flood the screen with them, constructing tight spaces that make getting through them patience trying, and when you do, it can create annoying banging sounds. Can you find another game that can make you hate gold?
