Pretty much self-explanatory, given the thread title. This thread is dedicated to the wonderful BGM of videogames.

Post and discuss favorite videogame tunes, new and old.

There is only 1 rule. Please be sure to put embedded videos in spoiler tags so we don't have pages full of youtube videos slugging up the loading of this page for those with crap connections.

I'm into all types of music, but quite honestly, videogame music takes the cake. It's like most other modern music just doesn't have soul, you know? Either way!

My bad, but I don't know how to do spoiler tags. >_>

I, too, tend to gravitate toward the composers of videogame BGMs more so than composers from the standard music industry. That's not to say I don't like some of the music in that industry, it's that a large % of the music I listen to comes from videogames, the primary reason for that being I'm an instrumental guy and normally don't care much for lyrics. I'm of the mindset that you let the music establish the mood and message. I'm here to listen to the instruments more than anything else.
