SimCity (2013)

I had a vague recollection that it had been announced that all future SimCity games would have a social element, which was a bad sign. The news today is also bad.

And it apparently requires Origin.

So despite fond memories of SimCity 2000, I'm going to go with "no way" on this one.

Worst blunder of 2013 so far. Don't waste money on it.

Edit: Yes, this is worse than A:CM. Don't give EA money.

The game itself isn't bad. In fact this is the only Simcity I have failed so hard at. I can't even maintain a city of 200k without crashing and burning. The downside of course is EA and their shit servers. Even gifting myself money from another city I made in the region lags a good day or two. And there is the server error. Which is at least getting better I guess.

I would say buy this. After the servers start working properly, and maybe a price drop.
