SC4 on PS3 cropped

I just got SC4 for the PS3 and it seems that it's either cropped or zoomed in a but. I'm missing the top of the HUD, for instance. Check out this
pic:

I don't have a 360 pic handy but I see more of the top and bottom. Is this normal?

I really don't know but is your screen big and wide?
If it is, then it is normal I believe, if not...

Its called overscan. I believe there is an overscan setting in the game to fix it.

If there isn't, then that means your TV is doing an overscan on your screen anywhere from 5-10%. This is normal for older high definition televisions, especially rear projection TVs. You can find guides online on how to go into your service menu and reduce the overscan. Overscan is an technique harkening back to the older days of television; its something we dont need to do anymore, but for some reason asshole TV retailers still do. We don't need to be doing Interlacing anymore either, but for some reason we do that as well. There was no reason for 720i and 1080i to ever get created.
