PC videos do not sync up

ok, So I got that video card tester thingy. Not sure what its supposed to do but it said it failed some test of some kind. So should I consider a new video card. I think I have a card thats not seperate (on board I think is the right term) is that going to be an issue if I get a different on. I think I have 1 open slot for a card of some kind. What info do I need in order to get one that will work?

On a positive note. I totally deleted norton out of my PC and installed MS sercurty essentials, and HOLY SHIT....my PC hauls fuckin aaaaayyyyuuuusss now!! And some of the trouble my wife was having with her facebook is now gone.....Thank You Jaxel!!

I also got the super defrag that Franman suggested and ran it, and it really seemed to make a huge difference!! Thank you guys for all your help. I really appreciate it!!

I dont really use my PC for anything major that would call for a super duper bad ass video card. I dont play any PC games just an occasional DVD and vids off youtube and such. Can someone recommend a video card that suits those needs.

Thax Jaxel, Talim and franman for your help in advance

Maybe you don't have enough video memory to run the test- as it slowed my computer down too and I have a pretty good video card (I've been gettin some errors with my computer too lately).
Did you try runnin the test again after Norton was deleted?
Ya Norton need to get there act more together...
With an on board video card it may be hard to change cause it's on the mother board, the other guys prob know more than me but you may end up gettin a new computer (which could be good cause now you actually have an excuse for the boss so you can get that computer you've been thinkin of- from another married man, haha).
