Need help finding laptop before Black Friday.

As some of you know, my Emachine after 5 years finally bit the dust (Thank God. ^_^). :p For christmas im trying to get a brand new laptop (Non-Mac). All i really use it for is internet, gaming and watching my avis. I have an idea what im looking for (DL DVD-Burner, 250 GB HDD, 4 gig ram, HDMI output); however, just wanted to know what are the top name brands to look for (HP, Dell, Gateway) ? Any help i can get would be great. I can only spend about $600-$700. Thanks.

The only thing that sucks is that theres no s-video output, only VGA. Where can i find a VGA to s-video convertor ?

VGA to S-Video, only works in that direction and if your video card supports TV out.

Honestly, Vista with SP1 is a really, really solid OS. I'd stick with it.
