Kingdom Hearts

So, I'm sure a couple of you know the game. Maybe you like it, maybe you wish you didn't, or perhaps you just don't like it. I'll be honest, and say I fit with the former.

My reasoning here lies upon two things. First, I really like the battle system. It's addictive and fun, as I feel I could come back and play boss battles over and over again (to this, I'm primarily referencing Kingdom Hearts 2's system). I love the battle options, customizations, and especially Reaction Commands. Who doesn't like a kick ass little cut-scene during an intense battle? Second, the story associated with Organization XIII really drew me in. I think the entire group is fairly interesting, and just to see them interacting with the rest of the game's characters is usually so amusing.

What I think needs fixed is most of the Disney stuff. I know this game's premise is a merger between Disney and Square, but since Square practically developed the whole story around Ansem and the Organization, the fluffy Disney stuff seems too much like filler. In fact, it is filler. Then comes the rest of the story aspects, which are vague at best, but honestly, that seems like a problem Square has with all its Final Fantasies as well.

Either way, this lil' thread is just here for discussion. Like it, love it, or hate it? Let me know, or if you just wanna BS about the game.

Why isn't Quasimodo in any of the games? He's too good.

I liked KH1 a lot. 2... not so much.

I also think they should implement more Disney theme songs in their respective worlds. The Beauty and the Beast world in KH2 is the only one that had a rearranged version of its theme song. Would have been nice to hear a Lion King or Hercules theme. Oh, well.

The theme:

Less of the lame Organization 13 and more of the Disney villains. Only good part about Kingdom Hearts 2 was the battle system
