I play Guilty Gear because I like to feel bad about my execution.

I could never really get into GG because I just couldn't be bothered learning all the million different subsystems and then learning all the character-specific combos and shit. Too much effort.

^ It's still fun to play casually. Hell, I play Millia, the queen of character-specific combos, and my execution is ass... but I still enjoy a couple of rounds with my friends.

to reiterate: Scrubby Millia player. I fish for j.D knockdowns and do scrubby disc mixups.

Guilty Gear is my main game, and have competed in tournaments in it for um...shit. 5 years? :o Johnny player here.

I've stopped playing hardcore mainly due to lack of funds making it hard to travel to where comp was, on top of the people here not caring about the game enough in the first place. I'm just addicted to Soul Calibur 4 lately though.

Guilty is my preferred 2D fighter over Street Fighter, King of Fighters, Marvel, etc.

My main in that game is ABA. My friends nick-named it "Incomplete ABA" for the fact that I only learned a certain amount of her game and then just stopped due to laziness on my part. Baiken was my secondary before I realized how incredibly scrubby my Baiken was (she was the character I played when I first got into the GG series). I never learned her the proper way but plan to...eventually (again laziness).
