Lets see if anyone remembers the games that brought them entertainment from mid 70' to the 90's.
The games that society has mostly forgoten: games like suikoden 1&2, Perfect Dark and hell even the early works of Final Fantasy or pokemon. This thread was inspired by a man who tried to convince me the that all the new games coming out were better just because they're new and all the old games that paved the way for them should forgoten: buried. The is coming from a man who still owns an super-nintindo. so in short list your favorite classic games so we can reminisce.

It's funny how you say "from the 70's to the 90's, and name only late 90's games... But anyways:
  • Metroid: This games is just pure perfection. I could even name an element after it... Metroidium lol
  • Super Metroid: Obvious choice is obvious.
  • Street Fighter II: Yeah...
  • Tetris: Beautiful game. Knowing how to play this should be law.
  • Puzzle Fighter: Love it.
  • Donkey Kong: *sings two second theme song in his mind*
  • Mario Bros: I love how this game makes a lame, repetitive concept into an endless fest.
  • Super Mario Bros: Do I even need to elaborate?
  • Pitfall: I NEVER lasted more than five minutes alive.
  • Galaga: Oh Namco, I love you.
  • Pacman: Now I love you more.
  • Tekken: <3^2
  • Soul Edge: Namcogasm.
  • Soul Calibur: Nirvamco.
  • Bloody Roar 2: Not that much of a deep game, but very fun.
  • DragonBall Final Bout: This game actually sucked, but the music is still stuck in my head 15 years later.
  • Ape Scape: Not that famous, but it's one of the best games I have ever played.
  • Doom: you're doomed if you haven't played this.
  • Virtua Fighter: Oh, the memories ~
  • Contra: Ask Vincent.
I could list many more, but I've got stuff to do... *plugs in snes with Super Metroid in it*
