I dont know about all you guys but Im extremely excited about the fifth installment of elder scrolls spic. I mean NO ONE can deny that Oblivion was masterful.

"The game will take you to the icy Skyrim region, home of the proud Nord people. Knowing the storytelling abilities of Bethesda, we can safely say it's going to be one of the best RPG games in 2011. It also features a brand new Creation Engine that promises amazing graphics and animation."

What's everyone's reactions?
 
So some stuff for ya about Skyrim I thought I'd throw out there:


Will we be able to have relationships with the NPCs, romantic or otherwise?
Bruce: Absolutely! You make friends with people by doing things for them. Friends in the game will treat you differently. Some of them will even agree to go with you into dungeons and on adventures. You can even get married. If you own a house, your spouse will move in with you.​

While I happen to like fable, and Pete has to feel even more validated by this game (which will, if you recall feature fable's famous "glittering trail") what would be really nice is if we had companions who had names, personalities and stories bioware style. It's not a big deal at all to drag random civilian x or guard y off the street into a dungeon where they'll be murdered by mudcrabs and level one skeletons, but bringing my friends, the epic devil may care firemage with an alcohol problem brought on by his accidental burning down of his orphanage when his powers manifested, or the stoic but kind hearted marksman warrior woman who's father was killed hunting a specific legendary dragon, would be.

Any thoughts?
