Arcade Stick problem?

I hope this is the right section. Anyway I have the Soul Edition of SCV and well it works on SCV, I am still learning it. But, when I try to play BlazBlue or UMvC3, there is a delay. like when I walk in any direction, right or left, for like 3 seconds. I let go of the stick and the characters CONTINUES walking for at least a second. This problem appears in both games. Is it just that this SCV stick is only for Soul Calibur or is there a problem?
 
hmm, haven't heard of that problem before. do you have the stick set to DP - directional pad? [instead of the left or right analog]?
 
I always kept it on analog but I switched it DP and it fixed. Thank you so much, cant believe I never thought of that. Hope it does not happen again, thank you again!
