Hello fellow 8wayrunners! I am B.Revolver, and as the name implies I play more than just Soul Calibur. I thought I'd introduce myself and share my history with SC.
I have been playing Soul Calibur since the first game, on both DCast and arcade. I spent roughly $20 a month when my local movie theater got a SC 2 machine, and imported the Gamecube version when made available. I then went on to buy every console release when it finally released in the U.S. When it came to part 3 it was hard to keep my friends ineterested, but they all came back briefly to enjoy SC 4. When they stopped playing I kept playing. I now live in Stockton, CA 300 miles away from the very people I used to session with on a regular basis. Thank the spirit sword for online play, laggy or not. Don't get me wrong, online play will NEVER replace playing someone in person.
With the release of SC 5 I decided it was time to stop watching this community and finally try to become a part of it. When it comes to fighting games SC shares it's place in my heart with Street Fighter. So when people ask which I like more I have a VERY hard time deciding. Like with SF I have met some great people playing SC, and even broke a Dreamcast in one marathon session. My main character was Kilik, but since he is not his own style in SC5 I am making the transition to Xiba. I'm no tournament pro I just love the game. It is my hope to sharpen my gameplay and meet/session with players who also love playing this game.
I'm currently playing on XBL so if you are looking to play online or even message me for live in person sessions please feel free to add me.

Thanks for taking the time to read this (if you did) and I look forward to some great fights.
