8Wayrun XBOX-Button-Translator Addon

Hey all, I'm not sure if anyone will find this useful but I was having a difficult time visualizing the number-pad directions and PC-inputs and trying to translate it over as I play on a console.

I created this Firefox add on to automatically parse the pages on 8wayrun.com forums and translate the PC-lingo into XBOX-readable button sequences. It isn't perfect but what do you expect for 45 minutes of effort?

Since the MIME-type on S3 is not proper you may have to save the file and then open it with Firefox manually to get the add on to install, sorry about that.

Not too shabby really, I like the effort you put in. But people should just learn the lingo. If you meet any players in person or are studying the movelist in game you won't have a translator handy. Why do people act like using the button notation the game uses or looking at a keypad is so difficult?

This is pretty cool, but damage and hit count will also be shown in notation. So I would be years old...

But I think the current notation is just fine, it works for both consoles and is also the same regardless of your button configuration.

You should've spent your 45 minutes swapping out the videos with youtube embeds. That only really takes 15 minutes, though. :P
