I feel the same way about MVC3 being fun casually but disappointing beyond that. There's always AH3 as well if MK9 fails, which looks promising, though not really my style of game.

They made juggling a lot easier to do in Tekken 6, which is kinda newb friendly- since they replaced the executi0n requirement with a knowledge one- which I think is a good change. The problem is Namco didn't give a good teaching mode to show people in Tekken 6, without a very clunky interface...

I'm going to hit a local tourney this Sat- people play AH3 here, so I could get an eye on it and see if I'd like it. I tend to prefer low-execution, spacing-based fighters (like Soul calibur) over combofests. That said, I can still see the influence of SamSho Special in AH through youtube...
