For fighting games GGPO is the best.

Block buttons lose a lot of depth that holding back to block can give you. Jump button sounds weird but I don't really see any problem with it.

Assuming the shotguns and rifles are somewhat balanced to each other and have unique applications the loadout thing will just reenforce teamwork.
