SUPER Street Fighter IV! Official Discussion

If you're worse than internet shotos and Giefs, then you just aren't learning from your fights. Start playing player matches instead of ranked if you aren't already. That way you can at least look at and save replays, which you can examine and see what you did wrong.

BlazBlue - GuiltyGear's next gen cousin

Agreed on the option select. That doesn't promote anything positive imho. I believe execution has its place, but it should be designed reasonably. Losing out some on damage is one thing, eating srk FADC ultra for missing a link by 1 frame is another entirely.

That's because if DPs are giving you huge problems then odds are that A: You're jumping wrong or B: You're too aggressive. There's no reason that you have to be rushing their shit down the whole time (Especially when you've got a lead) when they've got some of the best defensive options in the...

SUPER Street Fighter IV! Official Discussion

MK Tsumuji is actually the best imho. It's completely, absolutely safe on block without followups (You're at neutral frames) whereas both LK and HK versions are -4 or so without followups (Which can be interrupted with DPs anyway). Anyway, when I mean block I mean just learn to passively defend...

SUPER Street Fighter IV! Official Discussion

The first part was directed at Lost Providence since he asked for invincible moves. Also, the only things that can punish -1 moves are a few supers (Two of which require charge) and Gief/T. Hawk/Hakan/Ibuki's throw ultra. Even then pushback alone can make moves safe.

SUPER Street Fighter IV! Official Discussion

Cancel =/= Link. Cancel is when you cancel the ending frames of a normal into a special/super, or a special into a super (Like c.MK xx Hado xx Super). Link is when you connect a move after the previous one recovers (Like Boxer's c.LP, c.LP, c.MP/c.LK xx Headbutt. Note that the c.MP or c.LK has...

You can't throw/get thrown during blockstun. You can certainly mash the fuck out of the throw buttons until you're out of blockstun and hope they time their throw so that it catches you right during startup frames for your own throw (If you're in the recovery frames you'll just get thrown). That...

SUPER Street Fighter IV! Official Discussion

Welcome to the internet. To break a throw press LP+LK (If you do it while crouching you'll get a c.LK. You can still break throws this way, but the window is tighter). This doesn't work during the startup or recovery of other moves, or against command throws. @Mizu-Kitsu: Try using down-forward...

New ultra is definitely good, and has much better applications then the retarded mutual 50/50 crossup thing he had with the previous one. Balls still being punishable on hit (Especially EX Up ball) is retarded though. The more I learn about Adon, the more solid he feels. Aside from his DP...
