I guess I can still hold up hope for the console-release. K' seems like a huge oversight since he was the main character for the NESTS saga, and Mai...well, I think Path said it best. SNK can increase their sales of this game by 50% just by including her.

There will be much rage if K' isn't in the final build of the game. At the very least, some console-exclusive characters couldn't hurt.

Not that this comes as any surprise, but KOF 12 will be released in America.

Meh, I saw Tenjou Tenge, but I frankly wasn't impressed. The plot was extraordinarily lackluster, but I will say the character designs were good.

Holy crap! ChoppperMan, thanks a lot, that is one bad-ass trailer. It looks like that new character might be a K9999 replacement. That better be coming stateside--I played the hell out of the original 2002.

??? I'm not sure I understand this...how does cliché equal boring? Soulcalibur isn't boring because you have two people with over-sized swords fighting each other (see every single Final Fantasy game). What exactly about Geass did you find cliché? Because if you've seen more shows like it...

What anime have you seen? I would highly recommend Code Geass, but I think just about everyone's watched that. I don't know if you ever seen Full Metal Panic! or Gunslinger Girl, but both of them also fit the bill. I prefer Gunslinger Girl, but FMP! is a definitely a lot more light-hearted...

Teenage angst? I own Evangelion, yo. I can't imagine Gundam would give me a problem. How interconnected are the series? I'm a perfectionist so I've always wondered if I would miss something if I skipped a series or didn't start at the beginning.
