I think if you're new to the game, you definitely want to specialize in one character. Once you get the hang of the game, using two or more characters is a perfectly viable playstyle.

I used the same controller both at the tournament and when I got home. The only difference was the fact that I wasn't using the adapter when I got home.

Ok I'm sorry this is kinda late but I think the adapter has issues registering directional inputs. I just tried it at a local tournament and I couldn't do SS/CS at all. I get home and I have a near 100% success rate. Mostly just frame CS. Something is fishy here.

According to Spman, Motempest tried to use an XCM adapter on his stick, and it had noticeable lag. That's all I can really tell you. This converter was intended for the Xbox 360 controller anyway. Go read the description on TotalConsole. Edit: Btw your sig makes me cringe. >.<;

Lol. Did you even read my post? Sure it probably has a few milliseconds of lag, but if you can punish a -14 attack with an i14 attack, break throws, GI, etc...then who cares?

Honestly I didn't try it with a 360 stick, but I heard it does have issues with sticks. I'm not exactly sure on this, though.

I also just got to use my XCM converter today. I can punish a -14 move with an i14 attack. That's all you need to know. Get this thing if you like the 360 controller.

I just ordered one of these today! Should be coming in the mail soon. I'll post a review as soon as possible.
