Im wierd and use the analog stick for corner inputs but most people just treat them like buttons and press two of directional pads at the same time.

Yeah no real edge over other pads. Most calibur players use controllers (ps3 pad to be specific). I can only think of one player that uses claw style @ZeroEffect317. Dont think its any more effective to regular style tbh but it may help players with smaller hands...

You should probably play SCV seeing as its the current competitive calibur game..... As far as best controllers for calibur go its really up to the player to see what they're comfortable with. If you prefer analog to dpad you should go with an xbox controller. If you prefer dpad then ps3's...
