Only problem I've had with ranked on PC is constant "The request to fight could not be sent." Though I'm not sure if that's the connection or just people declining to fight me for whatever reason.

I think they will wait longer. They seem to be in it for the long haul for Tekken 7, promising support for at least a year. I think later this year or (more likely) next year is when it will be announced. That being said, I can dream.
