It's easier on a controller than any other input imo, assuming you mean SCV.
It sounds complicated to read, but it's easy to perform, and here's how:
Hold down on the analog stick, press up twice on the d-pad.
Shift to left on the stick, press right once.
Release the stick and press the remaining two rights.

Can easily be done in 0.5 seconds once you get used to it. It does require you to use your right thumb on the d-pad, but that's all.
