You're definetly right. I think it is the main reason why my raph is decent but i'm not really improving. I should find some usage for his other moves too.

Well, your Raph suffered vs my Viola, despite it being a good match-up for Raph. On that note, you should probably work on that match-up, seeing as it forces you to use a wide range of his movelist.
Off the top of my head - use more: 4A, 44AB, Prep K, 8A+B, 66A, Prep A+B, 3A
