I am still not following you. This doesn't have to do with any of what you just described, and I am not sure I could explain it to you in a way to get you to understand. Some people are here to play, some people are here for other reasons. They cause fights and change the meaning of what this place is actually for. Read the front page. The last post was May 9th. That says it all imo.

People are giving up defending the true meaning of this place. Or some of the people in power here shouldn't be there.

Because the "owner" doesn't pay any attention to who's doing what at all.

Oh this much I could say, I was just wondering, for this exact reason. I think while yes, some really stupid sh*t is always flying over here, I was just wondering if members, should not try to get along finely. But then again it could be friendly quarrel. This was the part I was wondering really.

Hmm, it wasn't supposed, to be so hard, I mean we are all people wanting to enjoy a game, I just wish everyone could at very least respect each other. :/

Problem #1 is your dwelling on a video game based community, where as just by saying "Hardcore Video Game Players" you know you're going to get the bottom tier, weirdos, and drama starters...

People look at these fighting games as an extension of toughness! Because in real life they're usually fat, or weak, and aren't competitive. So they choose video games to compensate.

I remember one guy got pissed at me online and said "LOG ONLINE SO I CAN KICK YOUR ASS!"

You can see that some gamers equate playing these games as if they were actually kicking another person's ass. My advice, less nerd gaming, go do MMA, if not, play games and live a civil, non-wannabie badass life.

You know Jinrai? Besides our avatars of choice, there is not much to say about us here, I don't mind people who role play, I just wish people were more respectful towards one another, as an overall thing.

It must sound hypocrite of me, but all I want is to this place to be a little more friendly to everyone.

Ramus I understand your feelings, and I understand all this nonsense video game drama is a waste of time.

What I mean is people invest so much into getting good at these video games they stop looking at them as "GAMES" and act like it's an extension of how badass they are... That's why gamers like Enkindu and Alex are so quick to defend their pride...

Sorry about that, Ramus, anyways... I understand what you are asking now. And I can say that yes, it's real that Marginal sucks, and won't play me in a FT5. He stalks the women that join here, and when they don't like him, he chases them off, and continues harassing them even after they leave this place. Sick motherfuckers are here.

Is not really that, you see? For me this place was/is a really cool place, even with all the trolls and such, it is a place that, for me evolved far away from a video game forum, it became really an interesting place to visit and see what was up.

Knowing things like this, kind put me off, truly? Marginal never did strike me as a bad guy, actually he was quite pleasant most , albeit few, times we spoken.

Yeah. Everyone has their own opinion of this place. One thing that's for sure, they come here because the like SoulCalibur and want to meet and talk to other people that like SoulCalibur, or cuz they want to learn, or help out. Any number of reasons. What do you think of Alex J?
