Dance for the Dying is the best new band nobody's heard of. Though I think the songs from their original 2011 EP are a lot better than anything they've put out since then.

I did Onyyx but I found Owl City not to my tastes.

It's pretty varied Alex. Last night went from Theory of a Dead man to Billy Joel, then Tears for Fears and then Lana Del Rey (because sometimes you need to reinforce a stereotype).

Never really got into hipster müsik, but FUNK is always IN.

Listen in moderation though, cuz you'll start randomly "YEEAH"ing and "OOOH"ing in public. And ppl will stare.

Tears for Fears is always a good choice. I listen to Billy Joel more as a joke rather than serious listening though.

Depends on the song. I'm gonna be obvious and mention Piano Man as one of the better ones.

"Piano Man" is fairly cheesy, I used to love belting that shit out when I did Karaoke with people. But it's definitely better than a "We Didn't Start the Fire" haha.

It's one of me go-to karaoke songs for sure. When I'm not attempting a manly, rock-version of "Joleen" anyways.
