Poor Pete. Yeah the Sonic games are getting worse as are ff with the exception of XIV. The closest remake we have had is XIII with Lightning being the wannabe replacement of Cloud. The clue is in their names.

Still, people will complain about Square enix not moving on, and yet they want them to go all the way back to FF7, which square already did with Crisis Core and DoC, and yet when they did they kept telling them "ZOMFG STOP MILKING FF7". Its like they don't even know what they want sometimes. >_>

FF7 is overrated, Sephiroth is overrated.
It's a lot like the part of the Pokemon community that keeps whining about RSE remakes, when the only reason RBY and GSC had remakes was because you couldn't transfer pokemon up from those two games because of how radically different they were from RSE
