That move is negative on hit, so if your opponent knows about it, they can punish you easily. As far as followups, your only options are in his stances, which are basically useless after that attack.

as much as I dislike ^that guy. He is correct. Even on hit that move is highly punishable. I recommend not using it.

However. If your opponents back is to the rings edge and you havent been whoring that out, IF you get the full hits off it, it can ring out. But its pretty situational

Well I don't exactly play Maxi but it's for my bro, since I've moved back to doa and he still prefers SCV.

What about for Oki? Does it set up for that low kick to high kick string (Dragon Kick on the BE) that I see everyone use? If so is that interruptable and if so what could be done to maybe avoid an interrupt by say a AA or BB?

Problem is even if maxi lands 11A, he still has to go through a stance shift to get the BL K BE. So yes 11A does set up that BL K BE, BUT you can almost block that move, go make a sammich, come back and still interupt maxi. To those not familiar with maxi you will get it quite a bit till the figure it out. But on an experienced maxi player, your gonna eat a fat punish

using 44B for oki stuff is a far better option than 11/77A. It hits grounded and is completly safe on block. and leads to some nasty damage potential. I highly recomend you tell your bro to use that instead of 11A. For some reason 11A (or 236 A in previous sc games) has always been a horrible move to use. Even worse in SCV

Like has been said, its somewhat useless if your opponent knows stuff about Maxi. A lot of characters get a free CE ON HIT which is kinda funny and depressing at the same time

You actually do get advantage on hit vs grounded which can make the BLK* viable. If they start doing other stuff int hat instance, B' em.
