I´ve been meaning to enter the pokemon community for a while now, is there any advice you may want to give me?

There're plenty of good guys, you just gotta take it with a grain a salt. A LOT of people on Smogon are elitists, and RayRizzo/Bluecookies, the big champion guy, is a rage quitter. Which is amusing.

To be honest you're best off getting competitive advice from the Serebii forum's section. A lot of good guys there, and the nicer Smogonites hang about too.

Of course it's been a LONG time since I last played, so things might've changed in those years. Worth a look though.
