Change is scary, nostalgia goggles, what people first learn is what they become attached to most, so they assume it's the best. That's why so many games can run sequels with very little change to great praise; and when a real sequel comes, they lose their shit. I'm looking at you, Tekken series.
Well, to be honest I do like the characters it has that V lacks but...wow, it's just so much worse in every other way, even worse than I recalled. It's not any one thing that sticks out as the absolute worst, just so may things that are not good. The gameplay is very inferior, but then when it comes to the fluff...WOW. Hard to believe people think SCVs fluff is so bad in comparison :/
The thing I miss is the uniqueness of characters. In V most of the characters feel as if they are attacking the same way with slight visual changes. IDK thats just me though. not saying 4 is better than V btw.
