DEV TEST

That thing is that in order to learn a new fighting game for serious competition, I lack motivation... or time... or maybe I'm just getting old, lol. I guess it's mostly because of the time.

Are you going to Cannes for the WGC2013? I hope so.

Haha when I was your age I don't think I'd even played an SC game before :D

New games are hard, I tried picking up DOA5, but I'm too far away from the competition unless I dedicate all my time to it, even though I was decent at DOAU and got 3rd and 4th at recent tournaments in London. But I just don't have the energy to devote to that game as well.

I have to admit, I do miss SFIV.

About Cannes, not sure, maybe; I guess if I can get plenty of games against good players so that I actually enjoy it again, then yeah. But it is hard, after Docvizzo left, and even though I played Panto and Keev the other day, it got really laggy and unplayable by the end.

Haha, well I should never say never. I think I have more time after my state examination next August anyway.

I actually wanted to start playing either VF5 or DOA5 or TTT2, but I just don't like any of them. I'd rather play more SC5 and I hope that maybe WGC2013 will be such a hype-bomb as the NEC in Europe.

Maybe. I guess it depends on what happens in international competitions. This year only Keev and Kayane were able to travel a lot, thanks to sponsorship. US did not travel at all and Europe only got 4 players at EVO I think? Japan were big at EVO but not elsewhere, and are not active on these forums at all. Shen Chan and Yuan put in the miles but they are only 2 players.
