People still care about Dynasty Warriors?

I absolutely love DW.

.....why?

Because it is a genre of game that I enjoy and have been a fan since the first one came out. I don't take hate for it very well btw.

Isn't the genre "really simplified hack and slash"?

So? What do you have against people who enjoy what THEY enjoy and who don't follow the crowd?

I don't have a problem with you, (and never said I did) I don't like the game. What do you have against people who enjoy what THEY enjoy and dislike the things you do?

Because I wanted to know why people like it. Perssonally I find the game to be a brain-dead hack and slash with a thin story at best. So naturally, I'm curious as to why other people would enjoy it, or see otherwise.

I think the story is good, if you don't, you haven't read into it enough.

Mage-Yep, they are creating Dienasty Warriors 8. Of course that's a rush considering DW7: Empires has not been released in the West yet, but since I don't have a PS3, I don't care about that game.

Might I add that the kingdom modes are set up like DW4 for the four main kingdoms.
