Namco doesn't believe in Soul Calibur and never will.

They gave it enough support. Most of the 'competitive' players don't even come out to support SC; at least the Tekken players will for sure and won't bitch about their game so much.

Because they bitched about damn near EVERYTHING ELSE so much that there isn't anything left. Next thing you know some idiot is going to say "Bring back the cat Asuka saved."

There were people bitching about rage from day 1 that never quit Tekken 6. The only reason it stopped being played in the States was the announcement of TTT2. When the SC community puts in half the work or shows half the heart of the Tekken community, then maybe they'll deserve the same treatment.

Not to mention SC5 got tons of support. Much more than most games get. Not Namco's fault all SC players do is bitch and want more instead of being happy.
