Ya might thinks it's dumb but yeah I'd buy that. Though if it had the customization,speed,graphics,and stages from 5...then I'd totally buy it.

If it wasn't for nostalgia I bet we would have much more innovative games. Nostalgia is retarded (in games at least) simply because someone is emotionally attached to whatever they're feeling nostalgic about.

99% of the people I've heard complain about SCV don't even complain about the system changes (I hate some of them myself), they complain about some damn character that got replaced by someone with a similar moveset. I don't get it, why do they get so attached.

@Solo-I'd hate to say it, but it is true. Nostalgia has its pros and cons. Those you stated is obviously the con.

If it's a real thing as in a person, place, or something sentimental like your first car or something it's fine. I just hate it when people get all nostalgic over video games because it doesn't allow them to see how things have improved or even view it without a massive bias.

Of course this must be why I liked Tekken 3 and Tekken 4. Just the willingness to experiment, even though people loved T3, but didn't like T4.

I have a friend that complains about nearly every game that has come out in this generation all because he thinks games for systems like the SNES are the best. Mainly because he likes turn based RPGs (I can't stand them). He can't even see what's good about the newer games because he expects them to have some breakthrough feature that innovates the world. >.<

In SCs case though I think it's retarded because the character that got replaced is replaced by a character that is quite similar. Though the Taki>Natsu replacement was weird because they did a playstyle overhaul. On all the others I don't see why they're bitching.

So true, especially Natsu replacing Taki. Everyone hates Natsu before and after the game came out.

Well I suppose that is pretty true for most but honestly it's more about the gameplay then the nostalgia. I'm not saying I don't miss Cassandra and other characters from privious SC games, I just think SC5 could have been so much better.

@AJV: I don't see a problem with the gameplay besides how unsafe backdash is (should be -16, not -20) and JG.

@Frayhua: I actually don't mind Natsu, I don't hate her. I just don't think she's a suitable replacement moveset wise. Natsu has no mix up game like Taki did, unless you count 1001 bomb tech traps as a mix up game.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I want Setsuka to comeback and be extremely OP.

You know what I think is funny though? People in the SC casual forums get mad when I say things like the above and claim I only say it because Sieg didn't get replaced. If I wanted to be technical with them though I could say Siegfried was replaced because there is a vast amount of change between SCIV and SCV Sieg. More change than the S&S characters anyways.
