I think that tiers don't matter and it's too early in this game's lifespan to determine them.

Depends on what you consider a tier list, but top 4 are Algol Pyrrha, Omega and Viola. as far as risk/reward/ease of use. Mitsu/natsu/ cervantes have huge payoff, everyone else is 3rd teir, Aeon is 4th tier, only bad character in the game, still pretty decent compared to other SC games, needs landfish.

While it's too early to determine absolute tiers, we do have an idea as to who is most effective. But they're all beatable as long as you know the MU.

I get hated on this all the time, but I don't believe tiers are even relevant in Soul Calibur V.

So much in this game relies on movement, prediction, and just out and out bullying with your character, that in my opinion the characters themselves are second to the players in all scenarios.

People need to worry about top tier players, not top tier characters.

Her 236236B:4 the :4 is at 12 frames... I actually collected this data myself...

Aeon isn't the only bad character. Cervy isn't easy to use.

And the player takes precedence over the character sometimes, yes. But some characters pay off more for correct movement/prediction and have more options to punish incorrect movement/prediction and so on and therein lies the difference in tiers. They should never determine who you use however imho <_>

Basically Tier lists show how good a character can be used. So if 2 people of the same skill fight, one character has a better chance of winning, you can call it a match up, you could call it their tools, some characters have amazing tools and are really safe, these characters are the top 4 I mentioned.

It doesn't hit on frame 12. the :4 and the impact frame is completely different.

My bad DNS B is 15. I thought you meant NS B. And I don't think pyrrha is top tbh.

Lets take pyrrha, her 22K, its a TC, a step, a step killer, SAFE on block, COMBOS on hit with 236B:4, and a kick. can be switched with 22KK on a whim, can be invisible with 6632K which could also be 66K, which will punish someone who tries to duck it, not to mention pyrrha has 236A, and her 1A can be hit confirmed with 44B+K.... this is just a FEW things...

Isn't her 1A the low that's like i3000 and punishable as all hell on block? And I don't think that 22k is enough to justify ranking her as top tier. 236A? <_< The punishable-as-fuck move?

Fahros, win evo with Aeon, do it, please... and honestly unless you guys are collecting the frame data yourself, with actual instruments, please don't just read the wiki. but literally the :4 in DNS is 11th frame, 10.92 frames where it takes good effect.

How can there be a fraction of a frame? <_< A frame is the smallest measurement of time within a game.
