It is pretty annoying when people make characters with the smallest possible hitbox, though. Most of Alpha's combos are size dependent, so it's frustrating when combos that would normally work on a Mitsu whiff because of them being a tiny girl Mitsu.

I'll answer your question with a question: Why are you on ranked? Only scrubs go on there so they probably will use CAS.

Well, ranked does suck, but the player matches equally suck. I don't know. The regional US lobbies also suck because 60% of the people in there don't speak English and live in foreign countries with 1 bar connections. Ultimately, I think SCV is a piece of crap online.

Why it isn't region locked is beyond me, the netcode is not that good, I lose the 4 bar connections with people in my own town...I don't want to play some guy from Japan or Germany.

@Ace, you're right, it doesn't - but I still want MU experience. Just pisses me off when I spend 15 minutes finding a match and either it loses the connection or someone makes a CaS with a screwed up hitbox or masks their hitbox with accessories.

Personally, I'm just getting sick of SCV pretty quickly, I dunno. Bought the game due to online allegedly being "godlike", when in retrospect it's average at best imo. Constantly drops, isn't region locked and the CaS characters with the screwed up hitboxes/accessories that hide their hitboxes is just stupid. Tournament setting I'd love this game, but online...not so much.

The Just Guards for instance are awesome, this game is fantastic for people who want to devote time into it. However, online is pretty bad and the CaS just piss me off. I make characters, but I use the RECOMMENDED size and don't intentionally distort my characters to distract my opponent/mask my hitbox. I guess I need to add some people and play with them as opposed to randoms.

You can just mark them as offending player and then they'll appear as normal characters

I could see that working in a player match, but how could you in ranked? Should just be a feature to turn off CaS in ranked imo.

No, that would be stupid. Just play on Player Match, and online doesn't mean anything anyway.

I guess it would be nice, and even when people spout that Online means nothing it still means enough to make people rage, so I can understand want a no CaS option.

Yeah, online doesn't, I'm not saying it does - really I'm just looking for good people to play in which our connection doesn't drop (seriously this netcode is highly overated) to gain some MU knowledge.

But yeah, running across people with 1 bar connections who play Devil Jin (banned anyways) and Leixia who can just mash shit out with no repercussions due to their speed and little to no recovery is certainly stupid, hate losing to that, but oh well - what can ya do?
