Well... I'm getting a bit of the "You're getting Tekken in my Soul Calibur!" feeling from it, and I think the wings look terrible in the screenshots (they look photoshopped!)

But the more I think about it, the more I'm warming up to the idea. Hand to hand might be cool.

Lol! felt the same way the "You're getting Tekken in my SoulCalibur" thing. and the wings do look strange, i wouldn't say bad but there not truly feathery like Aeons or DJ himself, there like...Aura or Energy based or something for the CaS. the Laser is even another color, gold/orange as opposed to red.

And yeah a hand to hand style is interesting for SCV, it's a good thing Tekken and SoulCalibur are Cousins.

Well, recall that you can color "weapons" and weapon effects in this one. I'd be willing to bet that means you can change wing and laser colors. Maybe even get different styles for both. I shouldn't get my hopes up though, heeh.

It's a shame that a decent chunk of fans of Soul Calibur seem to hate Tekken. Funny thing is, I don't see it the other way around. I've yet to meet a Tekken fan who hates Soul Calibur.

Yeah that's true, but would the Laser effect and Wings be considered as weapons that are color effective? if so, that would be amazing! for various reasons.

Also never heard that one before, why do SC fans seem to hate Tekken? i don't hate Tekken, pretty sure you don't either.

I don't imagine it would be difficult. It seems to me that something should go in the weapons slot...

Usually comes down to the juggling mechanics of the game. That's what most people go for when they want to take shots at Tekken. There's more to it than that though, but when you're trying to hate something, you don't look for the good things.

I just recall that whenever Tekken comes up in some form of comparison (there was some Yoshimitsu thread in the Casual section like this) there are quite a few people who try to bash it without any real provocation.
