I started playing it about a month ago, and then dropped it cus I really didn't enjoy the game. I don't see how it is any different from any other FPS aside from a couple gimmicks. I guess I shouldn't be complaining cus I hated Oblivion to the max.

link's aren't possible online, they just are nearly not as consistent as offline. It's especially a big problem for Akuma, because if you miss a link, there's a decent chance of you losing 25% of your life when you were supposed to take 35% from the opponent.

That's the problem, hit confirming requires links, while SF4 links are pretty easy offline, linking online is a pain in the ass. If you miss a link, chances are you will be eating a reversal.
