I'm trying not to get my hopes up too high, but it's hard when you're at the level of desperation.
It's 50/50 for TGS, i'd say. If we get nothing, then oh well (it'll hurt for a while, but i'll live).
Considering the amount of teasing and hints that we're getting, i conclude that an announcement isn't too far from us.
I don't think they have to end LS first to announce the new title. It's not like there's anymore hype around that game.

If ur going to quote me read it in its entirety. They wanted Bayonetta as a guest character after EZIO, in SCV but it didnt happen due to time constraints and tsunami.
And although Bayonetta may not have sold well (its Wii U exclusive what did anyone expect), the reception and reviews have generally been very good. IF they happen to have had data on her model or moveset, why not reuse it? Saves time and effort. At this point no one knows if the agreement on her license had gone through and some work was already done, before everything got scrapped, including 3/4 of the story mode and all the rushed mimics crap. If it so happen that they do have data, she could probably make it as a guest character.
But anyways, I don't care for guest characters anyways. If Bamco wanted $$$ just ask for Link as a guest again :P
