Hey. I do not plan on messing with the way that I calc my polls but one of my friends was telling me that he thought that some numbers for style should be combined. It was an interesting discussion which to some extent I agree with but at some point it got stupid.
Setsuka and Alpha Pat have the same style basically? Eh okay cool, I guess those styles could be considered to have combined data.
Li long and Maxi for style popularity? Kay.
Taki and Natsu? Wow, that almost makes their numbers the same as Talim when you combine them. Still I can see it. I have played both characters and while different they are not much different than say Ivy from SC2 going on through SC5.
Lexia and Xiangua being the same style? Can do.
Then we move on to say, Siegfried and Nightmare where lines get blurred. Sure they are both big sword fighters but to me they are different enough to be different styles.
The odd fine line part are deciding if Casandra, Sophitia, Lizardman, Aeon, Pyrrha, Omega Pyrrah, Patroklos are indeed separate and where is that line drawn?
Personally I put P and Omega P in Sophitia's camp and Patroklos into Cassandra's camp. Lizardman is different enough to be his own style to me. But my friend disagreed with me on this point.
Where do you all think the lines are drawn between styles when styles originated from others? And or are similar to others if you had to narrow down popular styles by combining characters?

Well, the whole point where I mentioned in an earlier post about if project soul combines styles to see where characters rank it gets interesting, combining Alpha pat and Setsuka would not really change their rank but would put them closer to Raphael, however combining Raph with Amy as a fencing style of fighting would put their votes over Ivy and Kilik's but under Taki.

Yes, Setsuka had her umbrella while Patroklos has nothing! Also, she's got her chest which should win some votes. Alpha Patroklos has neither.
Setsuka's style was soulless and too effeminate with Patroklos using it. It fit Setsuka perfectly. Patroklos can keep his poor Sophitia imitating style, as
would say!
